- Don an N95 respirator prior to room entry.
- Keep the door closed whether or not the patient is in the room.
- The room should have bathroom facilities.
- The room must be a single room, preferably one that is under negative pressure.
- Pay careful attention to hand hygiene.
- Remove your respirator after exiting the room.
