• Hepatitis C in prisons – from individual care to viral eradication strategy: a benefit for the community

      – provide an epidemiological overview on HCV infection among prisoners
      – represent the state of art about HCV management and treatment in prisons
      – show a model of care carried out in Milan correctional institutes (3600 inmates to date) aiming at eradication of HCV in prison
      – discuss the benefit of such an eradication for the entire community
