Announcement: Farewell to Raunika Lertnamvogwan, Research Assistant, PICNet
It is with mixed emotions that we announce Raunika’s departure from PICNet and PHSA on June 5, to begin the fast-track Respiratory Therapy program at Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia.
Raunika joined PICNet as a Research Assistant in January 2024 and quickly became an integral member of our team. Among her many contributions, Raunika helped develop provincial infection prevention and control guidelines for reprocessing of flexible endoscopes, and assisted with the Carbapenemase-producing Organisms Action Plan. She conducted literature searches in both scientific databases and grey literature to help define and refine research questions. Raunika refreshed the PICNet website and managed other time-sensitive, ad-hoc requests and supported project planning, data management, and team coordination. She actively participated in the Infection Prevention and Control Planetary Health Interest Group, sharing resources and ideas.
Raunika’s collaboration, professionalism, and positive attitude make her a valued colleague. While we are sad to see her go, we’re incredibly proud of all she’s accomplished and wish her every success in her studies and beyond.
Please join us in congratulating Raunika and wishing her well as she embarks on this exciting next chapter.
