      Date: May 16th, 2016

      Time: 8:00 am PST

Speaker: Dr. Laura H. Kahn, Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University

      – Discuss the history of antibiotic use in livestock. The experiences in the UK and Sweden will be examined

      – Compare and contrast the EU versus the US experience regarding antibiotic use, antibiotic resistance, and livestock production. When genomic analysis was applied to VRE, a surprising discovery emerged.
