May 5th is World Hand Hygiene Day: Your Action Saves More Lives

On May 5th, PICNet recognizes World Hand Hygiene Day, a global campaign led by the World Health Organization. To avoid this daily and preventable threat, remember that properly cleaned hands protect patients, residents, health-care workers, and visitors – and are the foundation of safe, high‑quality care across all health-care settings.
